Im coming back from ACL surgery, around 9 months now, everything is going well, and i am track to make my comeback. I am going to see my consultant in around 2 weeks. Is it likely, or wise, to wear a knee support when i go back to full contact football (soccer)? I havnt used a knee brace at all so far, for things like running and sprinting.
I have a large metal lateral defiance knee brace. I want to run with it but the chafing on the back of my knee is awful. What is the best material to use to cover the knee and eliminate the chafing? I’d appreciate some advice!
I have an old knee injury & started training for distance running. I have tried a number of different brands of knee brace but they really hurt when I run. Is there a good one? I can get one from the doctor so it would have to be from a medical supply place or something. The ones I tried all hurt the back of my knee if they have straps or the front. They also tend to fall down when I run or cut off my currculation.
I broke my leg. Now I attend pt. The physical therapist said that I may need to get a knee brace that bends the knee by itself. They want this because my knee may become too stiff too soon. I was wondering what the name of this brace is so I can do some research on it. Please help.
I am 21 wks pregnant and I have really bad aches in my knees and feet. Would it be okay to use a pain relief patch? I don’t see anything on the packaging about not being able to read it. Since it is 3:32 am I have no way to call the doctor and ask.
I have had this knee injury for a couple of months. I am wearing a knee brace to train, but I fear like If I don’t continue to train I’ll lose motivation to lose weight for the air force. But If I do, this injury will get worse. I feel like my goals are farther and farther away.
Having a knee brace helps, but If I kept it on everyday, will it heal it eventually if I am diligent?
my knee hurts sometimes, i went to cvs and they had knee braces, but not anything that would stop it from being bent. if i use one that is tight will it still keep my knee from further damage?

I just went to a orthopedist and he said the cartlidge on my knee is swollen because my quads and other connecting muscles arent strong and can’t keep up with my knee until I can build muscle on them and because my knee slides around. So, now I have to wear knee brace on both legs to keep my knee in place and I really can’t sprint in them at all which is not good at all since I play lacrosse. I just got them yesterday, but is it maybe I have to wear them out. Let me know if you have any tips or suggestions.
